“THOR IS HERE” The Insane Build

The “Thor is Here” build works best in the lower teir of ladder competition but dont let that dissuade you from trying it out at the gold or platinum level. There is a huge chance that your opponent will have no idea what just hit them. You’ve probably already seen it in use if you have watch husky starcraft commentaries and you probably also noticed how badass it is.

Alrighty, begin as you would usually begin. Try to get your first supply depot at 10 supply or as quickly as possible. Then go for your refinery at 11 or atleast before your supply depot finishes.

Once the refinery is up and running put 2 SCV’s on gas and build a barracks. Dont worry to much on the building placement but try to put them at your bases choke (if it has one). As the barracks finishes throw up another supply depot. Try to do this at 15 supply.

For usefulness grab 1 marine to fend off any scouting drones, SCV’s, or probes. Then sneak your own SCV like a ninja to a blindspot near your enemeys base. If you look at your gas at that moment you should have atleast 200 allowing you to throw down a factory. Now here is where the fun begins !

While your factory is building you should make sure your in the process of getting another supply depot to support the thor, a second gas, and a Armory.

When the factory finishes it’s essentail that you create a techlab to get that thor building. As the thor is 70% complete bring atleast 7 scv’s and the marine towards your hidden factory. The selected 7 should be able to properly repair 3 thors effectively if needed to.
Once the thor is indeed here begin your assault. From there on it becomes very simple. You keep repairing and you will without a doubt keep owning your opponent. Make sure as you are attacking that you keep building supply depots and are making more thors. The whole strategy can be done in 7 mins and if you perfect it you could most likely lower the time drastically.
